Hilltop Animal Hospital, founded by Dr. Hinkle in 1979, operates today as a full service facility. Hilltop Animal Hospital is open 6 days a week by appointment. Full services are provided during these times. Holiday and after hour emergency needs are referred locally.

Preventative medicine is a primary goal of the practice. Besides canine and feline patients, special interests in bird, exotics, pocket pets, and wildlife medicine are also offered. Limited aquarium help is also available.

Daily routines include out patient appointments as well as scheduled radiographs, ultrasounds, soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, endoscopy, laboratory tests, and dental procedures. Canine reproduction work includes fertility studies, cesareans, semen collection and artificial inseminations.
